Patrick Roherty grew up in Janesville, Wisconsin, attended Santa Barbara City College (CA) and the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire.

Maureen Fiedler grew up in Glendale, California, attended  San Diego State University and UC Santa Barbara.

They met on Ocean Beach in San Diego, CA in 1973.  Maui, Hawaii became their home in 1979. They married in 1985.

Maureen began her international travel in her junior year of high school attending class in France. Patrick’s international travel began immediately upon graduating from high school in 1970. He toured sixteen country’s in Europe and northern Africa.

In 1972 Patrick and Maureen began their careers in photography in San Diego, CA with Deans Photo Service. Since then they have worked for such renowned companies as Technicolor in Honolulu, HI and Mission Country Photo in Santa Barbara, CA,  Fox Photo in Lahaina, HI and finally, Patrick served as Director of Photography at the Maui Marriott for thirteen years. Maureen has completed 25+ years for the Marriott where she continues today, on Kaanapali Beach, Maui.  Patrick retired from corporate work in 2001. Patrick and Maureen started their own professional photography company in 1999.

Their  photographs are sold on the internet through istockphoto.com  and  have sold by the thousands.   They have appeared in Maui On My Mind coffee table book, Marriott World magazine, an Island Heritage calendar and in post cards by Impact, of Kaanapali Beach and the Maui Marriott.   They had their own line of Photo Bookmarks, produced and distributed in Hawaii by Island Heritage.

Visited over fifty countries...

They have cruised down the Mississippi, USA, Yangtze and Li Rivers in China, the Nile River in Egypt and the Amazon River in Brazil. They have navigated through the Suez and Panama Canals.

They have sailed the mighty seas. The North and South Pacific and Atlantic, Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea, Mediterranean, Tasman Sea, Sea of Japan, East China Sea, Yellow Sea, Sea of Okhotsk, Bearing Sea, South China Sea, Bay of Bengal, Persian Gulf, Red Sea, Weddell Sea, Drake Passage, Caribbean Sea, Gulf of Mexico, Baltic Sea, North Sea, Strait of Gibraltar, Gulf of Aden,  English Channel and Coral Sea.
